Leilani Fleming
Leilani Fleming has been a member of "Ursus" since sixth grade, writing short articles as a reporter or laying out the pages of the newspaper. In addition to "Ursus," Leilani enjoys playing the viola, reading, and rock climbing. This year, she hopes to join the Bedford Chamber Orchestra and Science Olympiad. Leilani feels that kids in Westport shouldn’t take their clubs for granted: “I think it’s good for kids in places like Westport to learn about places where people are not as fortunate.” She suggests that kids learn about the opportunities available to them.
