This year, the newspaper welcomes Dereje Tarrant, a sixth-grade cartoonist with an artist’s eye for capturing the images of Bedford and a satirist’s wit for pointing out the little lessons and moments of humor that make middle school a always-interesting, never-boring time in the lives of its students and teachers.
