- Engage in some snow sports such as skiing and snowboarding in a ski resort! It’s great exercise and is really fun.
- Put on some snowshoes and enjoy a trek through a snowy trail with friends or family. I recommend Quinnipiac River Gorge Trail because of its nature and beauty.
- Build some snow structures such as a snowman, an igloo, or more!
- Have a snowball fight with your friends and become the king of the hill!
- Enjoy some hot chocolate, and here’s a tip, use milk instead of water.
- Bake some cookies or make a gingerbread house, enjoy classic chocolate chip cookies, or maybe make something more exotic. I recommend NYT cooking, the cooking website for the New York Times.
- If you’re tired of the snow, visit a local museum or attraction like the Sacred Heart University Discovery Science Center and Planetarium in Bridgeport, or the Westport Museum for History and Culture.
- Watch a movie or TV show such as Stranger Things or The Parent Trap.
- Finally, you can read a book like Refugee, Belly Up, or Diary of a Wimpy Kid by the fireplace or a window watching snow fall outside. My personal favorite book is The Wild Robot.
