2020: An Expert Lesson Teacher

Blake Carlson, Staff Writer

2020 was a hard year for EVERYONE. No doubt about it. However, if you take a closer look, a lot of important lessons were learned. Today we are going to look at three of those lessons.

Lesson 1:  Don’t take things for granted.

“Don’t take things for granted,”  You never realize what you have until you don’t have it. 2020 took a lot of things from us. Little stuff like toilet paper or Purell. 2020 also took bigger things like important events, or for some, family members. People often treat the stuff we have as “Must-Haves,” but once it’s taken away, we realize that it’s not.

Lesson 2: The Importance Of Being Able To Adapt.

“The Importance Of Being Able To Adapt.” People across the globe had to learn to adapt to things we never would have imagined having to adapt to. Because of COVID-19, people had to learn to do school from home, work from home, attend doctor appointments online, have to wear masks, learn to use Zoom, the list could go on. It certainly wasn’t an easy thing to do, but here we are, doing it.

Lesson 3: Teamwork Makes The Dream Work.

“Teamwork Makes The Dream Work,”  2020 has taught us that we can’t just look out for ourselves. We need to think about others and protecting others, We need to work together to prevent the spread of COVID-19, We need to work together to stay safe

2020 showed us that we need to work together, care for each other, think about each other, help each other, (Just from a distance 😉)
