Trends. Later in life we may ask why we ever did these silly things. We may not even know now why we do them now. But no matter what people think, trends will always exist.

Because they define who and what we are in time, here are a couple of the craziest, most popular trends at Bedford Middle School in October, 2016.The first is a flicking motion of the back arm, done whenever something good happens or when someone sneezes.

The next is a strange obsession to flick a piece of plastic, used for drinking, onto a flat surface multiple times in a row, followed by a loud scream of excitement.

The final trend is the determination to stare at your phone while walking or driving, not paying attention to anything else, in order to throw imaginary white and red balls at imaginary pocket monsters.
Yes, here comes the Dab, the bottel flip, and Pokemon Go.
