If you are a skier, this article is definitely for you. Winter has come and skiing is one of the favorite sports of Bedford students. The East Coast is known for its icy hills and not knowing what a pow day is. Skiing is one of the most popular sports during winter and my personal favorite sport.

Ski Resort #5: Saddleback Mountain, Maine

As well as skiing, Saddleback Mountain has other strengths like local 

flavor and dining. Its weaknesses are parking and access due to high traffic weekends. People say that Saddleback is great for all levels of skiing and great for families. People also think that the staff is super friendly and there are very good vibes on and off the slopes. 

Ski Resort #4: Waterville Valley, New Hampshire

Waterville Valley has strengths such as grooming and lodging. The hotels are great with good service. Its weaknesses are dining and nightlife. People say that it is excellent for families due to the variety of terrain. People also appreciate that the adult pass comes with a free kids pass.

Ski Resort #3: Holiday Valley, New York

Holiday Valley is a great place to ski. It has strengths like dining and lodging. Its weaknesses are challenging slopes and terrain variety. People say that it is a great place to start at the beginning of the season due to its terrain variety.

Ski Resort #2: Cannon Mountain, New Hampshire

Cannon Mountain has many good things about it. Its strengths are local flavor and value. Its weaknesses are dining and Après-ski/partying. People say that it is easy access and does a good job with grooming and snowmaking.

Ski Resort #1: Mad River Glen, Vermont

This is the number one ski mountain on the East Coast. Its strengths are value and challenge since it has hard terrain for experienced skiers. Its weaknesses are nightlife and grooming. People say that it is a great mountain, but better for skiers over snowboarders. One person said that since they learned to ski here, they can now confidently ski anywhere in the world.
