What will Bedford be doing with the new money?

Bedford advisors are planning on setting up a new garden for the courtyard this spring. The garden will have a raised garden bed about waist high, that will grow vegetables and flowers.

“This garden will be a demonstration to the students that you can grow things in a small space,” said Dr. Rosen.

The school hopes that students and faculty will be growing their own produce and observing how organisms grow in Bedford’s backyard.

Dr. Rosen mentioned that every month the Bedford’s chef will try to prepare a snack with the vegetables that are planted in the garden.
