In July of 2023, Travis explained his experience at a Taylor Swift concert on the podcast “New Heights.” Swifties trade friendship bracelets with sayings on them with Taylor during the concert, inspired by the lyrics of the song “You’re on Your Own, Kid” and that’s what Travis wanted to do. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after the show because she has to save her voice for the forty-four songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt when I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets.” Travis says in “New Heights.” He continues, “I wanted to give her the one with my number on it. She didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.” Jersey number or phone number; you guess! So while Travis would be “Enchanted” to meet Taylor, it didn’t really happen like that.

Okay, so did they really go on a date? Celebrity gossip account Deux Moi claimed that they have gone on a date in September, 20232, however this cannot be confirmed, but wouldn’t you think it’s weird that they were both born in 1989 and wear red to football fields and are not pairing?

On September 21, 2023, it appears that Travis Kelce was able to “Shake It Off”, not being able to communicate with her during the first time he saw her during a concert. He hoped she would return to Kansas City for another concert, which he will be watching. On Thursday, on “The Pat McAfee Show”, he reveals he invited her to his football game.

After that, on Sunday, Taylor was spotted on the bleachers sitting next to Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna. It is unclear what they were talking about, however most assume they were talking about the Chiefs’ victory. Many of the Chiefs’ were surprised to see her at the game. After the game, Taylor was spotted coming out of the stadium with Travis. 

If that still doesn’t convince you, Travis Kelce was spotted wearing a “1989 sleep set”, as @SwiftNYC on Twitter posted, “Travis Kelce wore a ‘1989 Bedroom Painting’ matching set piece tonight leaving the Arrowhead Stadium with Taylor Swift, very timely for #1989TaylorsVersion” and Taylor was also spotted coming out of the Arrowhead Stadium with Travis, also as @SwiftNYC posted in Twitter, “Travis Kelce driving Taylor Swift and leaving the Arrowhead Stadium together” with two emojis in the end. @NFL also posted “ATTENTION SWIFTIES: @tkelce recapped @taylorswift13’s day at the @Chiefs game ‘And then we just slid off in the Getaway Car.’ (via @newheightsshow)”1

Taylor also has wrote a song in the album Taylor Swift (her debut album) called “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)” that includes the lyrics “I’ll be eighty-seven; you’ll be eighty-nine” and Travis Kelce’s number is eighty-seven, and Taylor wore a shirt that has the number eighty-nine on it to his game!

It’s cute, and they’re probably not going to last long,” Hadley Sutherland remarks.
