The Staples Players production of “Legally Blonde: The Musical” ran from Nov. 9 at 7:30 PM to Nov. 17 at 3:00 PM.

The show starred Camille Foisie and Georgia Wright alternating in the lead role of Elle Woods.

The show tells the story of when Elle journeys to Harvard to get a degree and win back Warner Huntington III’s love. Along the way, she meets other friends who help her on her quest, including Emmett Forrest, and Kyle B. O’Boyle, the UPS man. She is also joined by Bruiser, her chihuahua.

“Legally Blonde” started as a successful movie with Reese Witherspoon as Elle. In fact, the movie was so successful, it spawned two sequels:”Legally Blonde 2:Red, White, and Blonde,” and “Legally Blondes.” In addition, “Legally Blonde 3” is set to be released on Valentine’s Day 2020.

Overall, this production brought “Legally Blonde” to life very well, and I was happy that I got to see it.
