My name is Malaika Glin. I am in the 8th-grade red pod. Working on the school paper is important to me because I think it’s important for kids to talk about real-world “adult” problems. Something that’s fun about being on the Ursus staff is having my friends read and congratulate me on my work. I enjoy writing book reviews and articles that connect to conversations on social issues I’ve had with my friends, in class, or as a pod. In my free time, I dance, spend time with my family and friends, eat and watch TV. I love reading and sharing my opinions on the books I read with people.
