Elena Nasar
Elena Nasar is in Grade 6. Ever since she could read, she loved to write. Elena has had some amazing life experiences. She is of Pakistani origin, born in Saudi Arabia. and immigrated to the US in 2015. This has influenced her reading and writing immensely and she is a great advocate for diversity and inclusivity.Â
Elena loves diving into a new book. In Grade 5, she with her friend Avery founded the A+E locker library and wrote weekly book recommendations for her peers. Some of her favorite authors are John Green, Angie Thomas, Elizabeth Acevedo, Rob Buyea, Louisa May Alcott. She is looking forward to continuing to write book reviews and news stories.
When she’s not writing an article, she can be found reading or crafting. One of Elena’s hobbies is jewelry making along with painting. Elena believes that writing is a powerful way to understand different perspectives and bring about change.
