Anastasia Thumser
Anastasia, a seventh grader, enjoys writing both fictional pieces and journalism. When not writing articles for "Ursus", she can be found swimming for the Water Rats or practicing various violin pieces. She especially likes reading and writing, and sees herself having a career that involves both skills in the future. She participated in "Image" magazine last year and has previously written fictional stories, but also loves covering controversial news pieces. "Ursus provides an interactive, fun way to experience real journalism at young ages," she says. Anastasia looks forward to spending another year on the staff and is excited to learn more about journalism.
